Nina Ovrutsky

Nina Alexandra Ovrutsky is an associate attorney with the law firm of White, Hilferty & Albanese.  Nina received her education at Pace University and Hofstra University School of Law – an institution now known as Maurice A. Deane School of Law.

During her time at law school, Nina focused her studies on areas that involved both transactional law and litigation. Nina has also taken numerous corporate and employment law classes. As part of several extra-curricular activities, Nina was a student ambassador, an article editor with the school’s reputed Journal of International Business and Law, and a member of the Hofstra Trial Advocacy Association. Nina also spent time as a research assistant for a professor in law school and helped perform research necessary for publication of a legal textbook.

In her second year of law school, Nina began working for the Law Office of Mahir S. Nisar, P.C., as an intern, which developed into her position as an associate for Nisar and Mason, P.C. today. While interning for Mr. Nisar, Nina also spent time interning at an employment law firm, Levine and Blit, PLLC, as well as for the Nassau County Attorney’s office in the litigation bureau. Nina has proficient legal research and drafting skills and she is fluent in both English and Russian. Through her law school career and various internships, Nina has gained ample knowledge in the areas of commercial and employment law and in personal injury, as well.

Nina was admitted to practice in the State of NY on 4/5/17 and admitted to practice in federal court of the Southern District of NY on 8/22/17.
